That's what they say...

I was reading up on how to become and RVer. Ha, I can't believe I just wrote that. Hey I just had a thought. Can I blog from a campsite. Oh no. I don't think I can. What in the world am I going to do?

Anyway, I was reading and all the website suggest to rent and camp for a weekend prior to buying one. Hmmm. This would be a good idea except, we are impulse buyers.

Car dealerships love us. We go to "look" and come home with a car. It's awful. I'm sure very shortly we will have some sort of Recreational Vehicle.

I can't wait to decorate it!!

Spilling the beans...

Okay so needless to say I can not keep a secret. As soon as Hub came home, I could not even look at him. I just turned and said "Fine, I'm planning to buy an RV and cruise the country for your 35th birthday. Are you happy now?" He just cocked his head to the side and said," You would never have been able to plan this yourself, I am excited though."

So what did we do next? I have been perusing Craig's List for a Travel Trailer or 5th Wheel. Yes I'm already up on all the lingo. I researched what would be the best fit for our family and everything. Oh and yesterday we went and window shopped at the local RV sales lot.

When we want something, we want it now.

Whyo, whyo, whyo...

Like I do not have anything else to do, I started today planning Hub's 35th birthday gift.
Renting or buying some type of livable vehicle and cruising the US for two weeks with our children. They will be 4 and 2 by then. Am I nuts or what. I plan to track everything. Hopefully this is not a flop. Alot can happen over the course of a year.

I started this blog and hid it on my In the Trenches profile. I will try to keep it a surprise for as long as I can. I have one year and two months to plan this.
