Done...

We did it. We bought a 26' 2005 Palomino Thoroughbred Travel Trailer. It took two hours for our walk through. The poor guy was probably exhausted from all the questions we...no I had. I even made him get a ladder so I could look on the roof. I think I was probably the only woman that had ever asked him that.

Anyway, our summer home is bought. Now on to finding a campground that is worthy of my precious cargo. Not an easy feat with all the review comments I have been looking at.

If anyone knows of a clean campground in the Jersey Cape area...let me know!!

She shoots, she scores...

We did it. We are a campin family now. We pick up our new rig this weekend. My main reason for doing this is too not spend my summer weekends working in my house. Although Hub did mention the fact that bugs will be involved in our camping adventures. A thought that did not cross my mind until last night. I decided to get over it. It will be fun. And my kids will not be stuck inside playing video games during summer. Now I have to learn campfire songs on my guitar.

Game On...Car...Game On...

Because our dinner plans with family fell through on Saturday (hope you are feeling better Aunt B.) hub and I went trailer shopping. We dropped C-man off at gram and pop's house and lugged LF to the lot.

Good things are to come. We just might be a campin this summer.

The one bad part...LF kept scoping out the beds. Why is this bad? Because her exact words were this:
Is this where Kyle and me sleep?
Okay it's cute now. But listen up Basu...there will be no bunking together after the age of 6. Got it!

The set up and let down...

I was excited for this weekend. I had appointments for three prospective trailer's to peruse. Hub rained on my parade and now is having cold feet. He thinks we should wait and do a test run on Memorial Day weekend. To this my reaction was: WHAT?!? He never wants to test things. He is actually more impulsive than I.

I was forced to call three people and explain how although we were and still are gun ho' about camping, my Hub thinks I am too much of a princess and wants me to "rough it" a weekend to see.
Blah...Blah...Blah...hook 'er up Johnny. I can be a camper if I get to re-decorate the space to which I would be dwelling.
